From January through June 2007, more than 40 arts organizations will come together for Shakespeare in Washington, a landmark festival of theater, music, dance, films and art exhibits throughout the D.C. area. The festival coincides with the 75th anniversary of the Folger Shakespeare Library, not only the world’s largest collection of Shakespeare’s printed works but also home to art, manuscripts, costumes, and films from the 16th Century to the present. This collection inspires performances, readings, lectures, exhibitions, and publications that will be featured in Shakespeare in Washington.
In honor of Shakespeare in Washington, the Fairmont Washington, D.C. has created the Romeo and Juliet Package. Shakespeare lovers will enjoy a luxurious guestroom with a balcony over looking the hotel’s romantic courtyard garden, a DVD of Romeo and Juliet and a special “Love Potion” for two.
Dates: The package is available from January 1, 2007 through June 30, 2007.
The Price: The Romeo and Juliet Package starts at $189 per night. Based on double occupancy and availability, rates do not include taxes or gratuities. Not applicable for group bookings nor combinable with any other promotions or special rates.
