Reggae Sunsplash Coming to Jamaica

It’s just a short time until Reggae Sunsplash Festival, scheduled for August 3-6, 2006. This year the event will take place at Richmond Estate, St. Ann, Jamaica. One of the key sponsors of the event is Riu Ocho Rios, which house many of the festival’s artists including UB40, Alpha Blondy, Beenie Man, Machel Montana, Toots and the Maytals, Morgan Heritage, Damian Marley and more.
Riu Ocho Rios will offer VIP accommodations, the highest level of security and variety of amenities and services for guests and artists during the event. During that time, the hotel will also have a special welcome area for guests providing concert information, cocktails and light fare. Riu Ocho Rios will keep its pizzeria open 24 hours a day and select artists headlining at Reggae Sunsplash will also be scheduled to perform at the hotel.
