Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, Indiana The lakeshore, located
on the southern shore of Lake Michigan, offers both historic and
natural attractions ranging from a working 1900-type farm to pristine
dunes. Located 50 miles southeast
of Chicago, the park is accessible from I-94 or Indiana Toll Road
I-80/90. Take the exit for US 49 North and continue to US 12.
