Weddings at Karmina Palace in Manzanillo
Hi Paris and
John,
My fiancé and I recently decided that we would love
to have a destination wedding in Mexico, and we did so for
a number of reasons. First, it is nicer on our budget, second,
we didnt want the traditional wedding that people are
finding ways to get out of right after the toast or cake cutting,
and third, it takes so much of the weight off of our shoulders
(well MY shoulders) as far as planning goes! The list goes
on but I will spare you!
I recently got a quote from a company that does destination
weddings but only on the east coast of Mexico. The wedding
cost was great but the cost to our guests was just unreasonable
which I think is due to it being on an island, Cozumel, and
us coming from Seattle. Which brings me here. What is the
next step in me getting a quote from you for a wedding in
Mazanillo hopefully staying at the beautiful Karmina Palace?
I heard they do weddings there and I can only hope that you
can work with them!?! Please let me know at your earliest
convenience how to go about this. I assume you have a form
for me to fill out or something indicating all of the things
that will make my day special (I just didnt see one
on your site).
Congratulations
on your upcoming wedding! Karmina Palace is a lovely resort
and they do weddings there. We don't actually book weddings
ourselves (we're writers) but I can point you to this page
on the Karmina Palace website to get you started:
http://www.karminapalace.com/English/Weddings/overview.asp
From there,
you'll find a link to their wedding coordinator who can
help with all the details. A few things to remember about
weddings in Mexico:
your ceremony will be in Spanish and will be translated
into English by your wedding planner if the two of you don't
speak Spanish. Also, you'll need to get blood tests there;
your wedding coordinator can help with all those details.
You'll find
more on Karmina Palace and Manzanillo
including photos
from our trip there on Lovetripper.com as well.
