What would you suggest as the best time to visit Europe – we like the weather warm.

Congratulations on your upcoming honeymoon! Summer is definitely the warm season in Europe (but also the most crowded and most expensive).

September is also a nice month; we were in Amsterdam, Switzerland, and Venice last September and the weather was great but the crowds were much more manageable than in the peak summer months.

Something to consider: many European hotels have no air-conditioning. You can find properties that are air-conditioned but don’t assume that they are unless they specifically say they’ve got AC.

Spring is also nice but can be cool; we were in Rome once right after Easter and it was definitely sweater weather.
