We're planning a second honeymoon in Europe for next summer. Is it better to get a Eurail pass or to buy each rail leg separately?

Well, that depends on how many trips you think you'll make and the length of those trips. Generally speaking, a Eurail pass is a great deal if you'll be making three or more rail trips during your stay; if you'll be traveling often, it's a real money saver.

The best bargain is to purchase the best pass for your trip. You don't need the full Eurail pass if you're only going to be visiting a few countries; in that case, buy a pass for just three, four, or five countries (called a Selectpass.)

Since there are two of you and you'll be traveling together, you qualify for the Selectpass Saver. These passes are good for three, four or five countries and are valid only if the two of you are traveling together...which is certainly the best way to enjoy your second honeymoon!
