Who: Actor John Stamos and supermodel Rebecca Romijn

When: September 19, 1998

Where: The Beverly Hills Hotel, Beverly Hills, California

The Event: When a former teen heartthrob and costar of Full House marries a supermodel, it's no surprise to find a star-studded guest list and the wedding of John Stamos and Rebecca Romijn was truly stellar. The exchange of the vows (which the bride and groom wrote themselves) was witnessed by models Tyra Banks and Heidi Klum as well as actresses Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Beach Boy Brian Wilson, and comedians David Spade and Rob Schneider.

The Dress:The supermodel wore a traditional, square-necked wedding dress by Badgley Mischka with a cathedral- length Chantilly-lace veil and a crystal-and-pearl tiara.

A Special Moment: Guests at the wedding were each asked to bring a flower which was then placed in an arch across the aise.

The Honeymoon: The lucky couple hit not one honeymoon destination but three. John and Rebecca started their getaway cruising in Greece then flew to Paris, finally jetting away to the private Necker Island, a Caribbean getaway owned by Virgin's Richard Branson.

Add some starlit touches of your own...

If you liked John Stamos and Rebecca Romijn's nuptials, consider how you can add some stellar touches to your own ceremony. For example:

• ask guests to bring a flower of their own. Not only does it save money on flowers but it also serves as a symbol of your guests' love for you as they send you into your new life together.

• Check out hotel weddings, not just for the reception but for the wedding itself. It save the confusion and expense of transporting guests (and decorations) from wedding site to the reception site and gives everyone more time to have fun!
