Weddings at the Stardust Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas

A mainstay of the swinging Vegas style since 1958, the legendary Stardust Hotel and Casino has been dealt its last hand. Before the end of 2006, when the trademark red and blue neon lights will dim for the final time, create your own Stardust memories in one of the venue's chapels.

What is unique about this venue: This nine-story neon wonder and its 32-story tower has been immortalized in the cult favorite Showgirls.

Wedding Packages: As the old saying goes, good things come in small packages. The "Petite Star" offers a classic yet cost-efficient ceremony brought to fruition with the assistance of a personal wedding coordinator which features transportation to and from the Starlight Hotel, the couple's choice of traditional wedding compositions which play during the 15-minute exchange of vows, a boutonniere for the groom and a three-rose bouquet for the bride, which she can hold while posing for six 4" x 6" photos.

The venue's most elaborate expression of love,"The Moon, The Sun and The Stars," begins with a complimentary ride to and from the courthouse for a marriage license. The nuptials, which take place during 45 scheduled minutes of chapel time, are captured for posterity with couple's choice of a DVD or VHS presentation as well as with 24 4"x 6" photos, which can be placed in a Stardust wedding album. Through a live internet broadcast, family and friends unable to attend the service can watch the bride, who clutches a bouquet comprised of 15 roses, walk down the aisle to her choice of classical compositions. Following a honeymoon night stay in the Stardust Suite, newlyweds are greeted on their first day as husband and wife with a champagne breakfast in bed. Dinner for two and tickets to one of the hotel's shows are also provided.

The Chapels: In the Stella Bella chapel, brides promenade down a pink floral patterned carpet toward an altar adorned with white flower arrangements as guests look on from rows of wooden pews enhanced with blush-hued fabric and white floral aisle displays.

The Fiore Bello chapel is also a pink paradise, decorated with nostalgic floral-design wallpaper, gilt-edged glass chandeliers and delicate white bows that cling to wooden pews covered in pink fabric.

For those who wish to wed outdoors, a poolside gazebo festooned with botanical beauty and diaphanous swag stands beneath a towering palm tree on the hotel grounds. White doric columns which hold aloft burgeoning floral displays add a romantic touch to the site.
