Weddings
at A Elvis Chapel, Las Vegas The King reigns supreme
at A Elvis Chapel, where a gold lamé version of the swivel-hipped
singer attends the ceremonies of Las Vegas lovebirds who have
found their own "hunka hunka burning love." Location:
downtown What's
unique about this venue: Couples who wed in this family
owned and operated chapel, which offers personalized attention
by booking just one ceremony per hour, will walk in the footsteps
of movie and television star Kevin
Dillon, who chose the Hound Dog Special when he said "I
do" to model Jane Stuart in April 2006. Theme
Weddings: An assortment of packages and periodic specials
are available, each of which provide complimentary limousine service
both to and from the chapel. Budget-conscious brides may want
to choose the "Memories" package, a simple presentation
preserved for posterity on VHS which includes two songs performed
by Elvis and a long-stem rose for the bride to hold as she says
her vows.
A Elvis Chapel's wedding
coordinator takes The King's motto TCB (Taking Care of Business)
to heart, tending to the details of the venue's most elaborate
package, "Viva Las Vegas," which offers a bouquet and
boutonniere for the bride and groom, and a total of 48 photos
of the nuptials and post-wedding festivities which can be displayed
next to a copy of Elvis and Priscilla's 1967 marriage certificate.
At the reception up to 15 guests, who dine on wedding cake washed
down with sparkling cider, are entertained with an Elvis concert.
Finally, newlyweds can don their complimentary Elvis shades as
they exit the chapel for their return limo ride back to their
hotel. Traditional
Wedding Packages: "Lover's Special" is a
classic yet cost-conscious presentation captured on VHS, in which
the bride makes her entrance to traditional wedding music as she
holds a bouquet composed of six roses. As elegant as its
name, "Pearls and Lace," the chapel's most opulent package,
offers a candlelit ceremony in which the bride walks down the
aisle to traditional wedding music as she clutches a cascading
rose bouquet. A six rose bouquet is also provided for the bridesmaid,
as are boutonnieres for the groom and best man. All the special
moments in the ceremony, including the lighting of a unity candle,
are captured on VHS as well as in 24 photos. An additional 24
posed photos of the newlyweds are taken after the nuptials before
the couple join family and friends for a reception complete with
a cake and sparkling cider. Wedding
Site Options: Nature lovers can profess their eternal
devotion at Red Rock Canyon. Two packages are available, one of
which offers a 2-hour tour of the scenic landscape. The
Chapel: White Doric columns draped with pale roses
and twinkle lights provide a romantic backdrop as couples pledge
their love in front of guests who bear witness to the proceedings
from rows of chairs upholstered with blush pink fabric. For More Info:
