Mon Bel Ami, Las Vegas Amid the hustle and
bustle which accompanies most Vegas vows, Mon Bel Ami Chapel offers
a serene sanctuary where you can pledge your love to your "beautiful
friend." Location:
The chapel is located on the Strip. Traditional
Wedding Packages: Couples have 11 wedding presentations
from which to choose, beginning with "Just For Two,"
a package developed for an intimate expression of love, providing
music from a Bose symphonic sound system for the bride as she
walks down the aisle holding a bouquet, while the groom is supplied
with a boutonniere. Couples have their choice of 50 photos, and
three images of the ceremony, which can be witness by up to four
guests, are available in either 4x6 prints or on a CD. Once the
lovebird's 15 minutes in the chapel have concluded, they are presented
with a wedding scroll to commemorate their special day. The paramount of panache, the aptly-named "Ultimate" package, which offers two hours of chapel time, begins with pre-wedding preparations at the couple's hotel suite, including the services of a professional stylist to create the perfect coif for the bride, make-up application, and a pedicure and manicure. A limousine whisks the couple to the chapel, where the bride can don her wedding attire in the privacy of the dressing room while guests sign the guestbook with a feathered pen. Clutching bouquets,
the maid of honor and bridesmaids walk down the aisle to processional
music before the bride makes her way to the altar along an aisle
runner sprinkled with rose petals. One hundred candid and posed
photos from which to choose and a wedding broadcast over the internet
for family and friends unable to attend capture each moment, from
the entrance of the ring bearer carrying the wedding bands upon
a pillow, to the release of white doves to represent the couple's
new life together. The venue also offers
packages for vow renewals and commitment ceremonies. The
Reception:
Mon Bel Ami offers four wedding reception packages, starting with
the inexpensive "Splendid Reception," which provides
a wedding cake and the couple's choice of champagne or coffee
for a 30-minute reception, which can be attended by maximum of
10 guests, and culminating with the "Creme de la Creme"
package, in which up to 25 guests can sit at dressed tables as
they sample fare from a buffet and slices of a two-tier wedding
cake. The services of a DJ and a bartender are provided during
the three-hour reception. Theme
Wedding Packages: Three "Kings" are available
for four Elvis wedding packages, which begin with the budget-friendly
"Mon Bel Ami Elvis," in which the bride, clutching a
bouquet provided by the venue, is escorted down the aisle by the
King of Rock 'n' Roll, who also performs during the ceremony.
The event is recorded for posterity on a VHS presentation and
in 40 photos, of which four can be selected by the couple for
a CD. Couples arrive at
the chapel in style when they choose the lavish "Pink Cadillac"
package, in which Memphis's favorite son not only drives the lovebirds
to the wedding venue, but also escorts the bride to the altar,
performs, and poses for photos alongside a 1956 version of the
famous automobile, which he uses to drive the newlyweds back to
their hotel. Couples are given a VHS presentation of the ceremony
and have their choice of four photos from a selection of 50 for
a CD. Extra
Touches: For those who long for a stylish service,
the venue can provide bridal attire ranging gloves and veils to
a wide variety of formal wedding gowns (sizes 1-42 are available)
and tuxedos. The
Chapel: Rows of wooden pews adorned with floral aisle
accents can accommodate up to 60 guests who look on as the bride
makes her way down a rose petal-strewn aisle to the altar, which
is decorated with a floral arrangement. Light from sconces and
a chandelier which dangles from the arched ceiling illuminates
