A Special Memory Wedding Chapel, Las Vegas
Subtle New England
nuances in the heart of Las Vegas provides precious memories for
couples in love. Location:
downtown What's
Unique About This Chapel: Country music buffs will
recognize this chapel from Diamond Rio's video for "Unbelievable,"
while reality TV viewers will remember its appearance on "Who
Wants To Marry A Millionaire." The chapel's charm has also
enchanted celebrity couples, including radio personality/musician
John Tesh and actress Connie Selleca, who chose the cozy Cape
Cod-inspired venue as the site for their vow renewal.
Traditional
Wedding Packages: A veritable potpourri of wedding
packages are available for couples, starting with the "A
Select Memory," a budget-friendly presentation which offers
wedding music, nine 4X6 photos which captures the ceremony for
posterity, souvenir wedding vows, a limousine to transport the
couple to the chapel and back to their hotel and a JUST MARRIED
bumper sticker so newlyweds can proudly announce their status
as husband and wife. Prices gradually escalate, culminating in
the elaborate "Platinum Memory" package, which provides
such amenities as a photo album to display 50 photos of varying
sizes, dinner and tickets to a Vegas show, and two floral displays
which can be sent to the couple's hotel suite( which is complimentary
for one night)following the ceremony. For a revved up romance,
drive-through "I do"'s are also available at the chapel's
drive up window. Couples simply pick the package which best suits
their taste from the ala carte menu, which ranges from the inexpensive
"Appetizer," which offers wedding music for the ceremony,
to the more elaborate "Dinner" menu, which provides
couples with two souvenir T-shirts, a keepsake photo, wedding
music, a rose for the bride, a novelty license plate and a "Newly
Wed" sign. If, like so many Las Vegas lovebirds, you feel
that your Nevada nuptials would not be complete without Elvis,
the venue offers two drive-through packages featuring appearances
by "The King." A Special Memory wedding chapel also offers several specialty packages, including patriotic-themed presentations, holiday wedding ceremonies, a honeymoon package and The Mazel Tov Wedding, which provides a chupah, a mazel tov glass, floral finery for the bride and groom, a video of the ceremony and 20 4X6 photos to commemorate the occasion. Theme
Weddings: Star
struck soul mates can invite the "celebrity" of their
choice to their nuptials, from the ever-popular King of Rock and
Roll (as portrayed by impersonator Jesse Garon) to another well-known
hip shaker, "Tom Jones." Marilyn Monroe knew that "diamonds
are a girl's best friend," and an image of the famous '50's
sex symbol can be on hand to witness the groom slip a sparkler
on to his bride's finger, or couples can vamp up their vows with
the mistress of the dark, "Elvira". These celebrity
look-alikes, along with characterizations of Garth Brooks, Cher,
Buddy Holly, Bruce Springsteen or Grandpa Munster will walk the
bride down the aisle, perform at the ceremony and pose for photos.
Chapels:
Inside A Special Memory chapel, sunlight streams in through stained
glass windows adorned with floral depictions, casting a warm glow
upon the groom as he watches the bride descend a spiral staircase,
the train of her gown lightly sweeping the crimson carpet which
leads to the altar. A chandelier which casts its light over ivory-colored
walls dangles from a vaulted ceiling over oak-hewn pews embellished
with scarlet padding for the comfort of up to 110 guests. Utilized for more intimate affairs, up to 24 attendees can bear
witness as the bride walks down a regal purple carpet inside the
Royal Wedding Chapel, which is lavishly decorated with floral
accents and violet-colored curtains that drape over warm ivory
walls. For those who prefer the outdoors to be their cathedral, the tranquil trickle of a fountain will provide a zen-like touch to nuptials held beneath the shelter of a decorated gazebo. The New England-influenced facade of A Special Memory offers a romantic backdrop to the lattice-embellished structure as the couple pledge their love. For more information:
