Taj Mahal, Agra, India. This monument to love is a powerful symbol of one man's devotion to his wife. Pop the question in the early morning or late evening hours to avoid the crowds and see the white marble glowing with the day's rays.

Niagara Falls, Canada. These massive waterfalls have served as a honeymoon hotspot since the day when Napoleon's brother took his bride here; the falls work equally well as a proposal site. One added benefit: word is that the negative ions produced by the roaring waters are a powerful aphrodisiac.

Eiffel Tower, Paris, France. The City of Lights has no better symbol than this soaring tower which has served as a proposal site for countless lovers including Tom Cruise. Time your proposal to match one of the spectacular light shows every night.
