Kids...they're a part of your wedding guest list, but should they be at your wedding? If not, what child care arrangements should you provide? And what about the reception? For answers, we've gone to an expert: Kelly Rosenblatt, Marriott Certified Wedding Event Planner, for her tips on planning a wedding at this special property. Kelly gives us her special tips on planning a destination wedding which includes children on the guest list. [For Kelly's advice on planning a wedding at Renaissance Grand in St. Louis, click here for a related story and photos.] On
the subject of children at the wedding and reception, what do you recommend
to brides? After dinner service, the younger set will enjoy having a place to call their own. Set a theme and complete the room with a child's sweet table, milk and fruit juices, television with videos, board games, comfortable furnishings and a professional child care provider to oversee it all! Another option is to offer a list of qualified nanny services to families attend the wedding. Child care can be arranged by the parents based on their family's individual needs. And what could be more thoughtful
than sending the young ones an amenity with a personal note from the bride
and groom. Consider our Kids Rule - an activity book with markers, animal
crackers, juice box, in room movie coupon and popcorn! This amenity can
be arranged through the hotels room service.
