romantic getaway? How about a night in Britney Spears' bedroom?
Your chance is just a phone call away, thanks to a new suite modeled
after the star's own bedroom.
The new Onyx Hotel
in Boston has opened the Britney Spears Foundation Room
on the Hotel’s 10th floor. Designed by the star's mother,
Lynne Spears, the room was decorated to resemble the star's bedroom
at home in Kentwood, Louisiana.
During high speason
(June through October), the room can be booked for $349 per night,
and ten percent of room revenues support the annual Britney Spears
Camp for the Performing Arts, and other Foundation activities.

The room's primary
color scheme is off-white with soft green shades and gold accents.
The floor is covered in plush pile wall-to-wall carpeting in a
rich cream color. A Karastan Oriental rug sits in front of the
bed and ties in the room’s colors with hints of soft blue
and pink. The nightstands, dresser and desk are all French country-style
whitewash furniture. The magnificent elevated bed will serve as
the focal point of the room’s design and features luxury
bedding provided by the exclusive Anichini line of exquisite Italian
linens.
Guests are surrounded by superstar sparkle thanks to the room’s
exclusive glass-beaded wallpaper above the head of the bed. Famous
designer Maya Romanoff supplied this rare "Beadazzled"
wall covering, as well as a beautiful off-white silvery paper
called "Silver Snow" for the other walls throughout
the room.
The Foundation Room's bathroom provides a glimpse into the fabulous
lifestyle of a true superstar. A huge gold-framed mirror, perfect
for last minute touchups, compliments shiny black marble floors
and countertops. The gold-toned shower curtain with gold beading
might inspire you to sing Britney’s greatest hits in the
shower.
Britney's most loyal
fans will enjoy seeing some of her platinum records hanging from
the Foundation Room walls. A unique corner curio cabinet holds
figurines, glass ornaments and mementos from Britney’s own
collection.
The honor bar in the
Britney Spears Foundation Room is stocked with Britney’s
favorite snacks, as well as all of her CDs for purchase. Celebrity
style entertainment will be provided by a state of the art 42-inch
LG Electronics High Definition plasma screen television. A DVD
stereo system provides surround sound for guests to enjoy their
favorite movies and Britney Spears videos.
