PLAYS CUPID AT MARCO BEACH OCEAN RESORT
Every day is
Valentine's Day at Florida's Marco Beach Ocean Resort, says concierge
Paul TeCroney, who performs weddings and renews vows, as well
as ordering limos, roses, chocolate-covered strawberries, and
champagne for romancing guests.
"If a couple calls in advance to get married on the beach,
we handle every last detail before they get here," says TeCroney,
who is a Chef Concierge and member of the prestigious Les Clefs
d'Or, an International concierge association. "That's the
beauty of a resort with exceptional service. We can promise perfection
in everything but the weather, and even that is practically guaranteed
on Marco Island."
In the year since the opening of the Marco Beach Ocean Resort
one year ago, TeCroney has officiated at four wedding ceremonies--two
on the beach, one in a guest's suite, and one on the terrace of
Sale e Pepe, the resort's gourmet Italian restaurant. A notary
public since 1995, TeCroney has performed over 200 weddings during
his career as a concierge.
TeCroney even prints up the vows for the bride and groom and presents
a customized marriage certificate. The Clerk of Court is close
by and the island offers plenty of talented musicians, photographers,
videographers, DJ's and dance bands.
"I love it," says TeCroney. "It is the best feeling
in the world to know you contributed to such a milestone in people's
lives and created a lifelong memory. We have something to offer
here, more than the sunset and spectacular views. The resort is
conducive to weddings, whether they are held up on the rooftop
pool and garden area, on the beach, at the restaurant overlooking
the Gulf of Mexico, or in a luxurious suite."
Invited guests from out of town appreciate the luxury of the resort's
all-suite guest rooms with fully appointed kitchens, marble baths,
and balconies with waterfront views.
Weddings at the Marco Beach Ocean Resort can be planned quickly
or in advance. Fifteen minutes notice was the least amount of
notice TeCroney had. And then there's the young lady whose father
is buying out the entire resort for her wedding in November. Nothing's
