Although classified as a small inn, Coyaba is the high end of this category,
a place for those looking for the niceties and luxuries of an exclusive
retreat. The $10 million all-inclusive hotel includes a plantation-style
great house which includes the main restaurant. Amenities include a freshwater
pool, hot tub, massage, tennis, watersports, and rec room. Guest rooms
are light and airy, decorated in an elegant tropical style with mahogany
furniture. You'll be greeted by a basket of banana bread, a sweet introduction
to this special property. On Wednesdays, the Managers' Tea Party is held
in the garden gazebo. Complimentary afternoon tea and Blue Mountain coffee
are served daily from 4-5pm.

This resort sprawls across the north coast with many kinds of room configurations,
everything from large guest rooms and junior suites to villas (right)

sweeping staircases, maids, and butlers. And

there's also a super luxurious shopping mall here to part you from any

road, this elegant property is pure Ritz-Carlton, from cooling towels
on check-in to a discreet service that almost anticipates your needs.

Hill Hotel & Villas
The Hollywood set frequents this peaceful resort west of town. Twenty-seven
villas dot 98 acres, and the Pineapple House, a building that overlooks
the sea, houses 36 hotel rooms. Rooms are done in a refined Ralph Lauren
style, with mahogany furnishings and terra-cotta floors. Villas are leased
back to the resort by private owners and vary in decor, but jungle motifs
are a favorite. All come with a personal maid and a cook to make your
breakfast, and several have private pools.
