Transportation to Hedonism II, Tipping Policy

From Hedonism II Special Section

You’ve got two choices when it comes to getting from Montego Bay’s Sangster International Airport to Hedonism II, located on the west end of the island in Negril:

  • fly
  • drive

Flying to Hedonism II

The fastest – but most expensive – way to reach Hedo is aboard a prop plane. For about US$60 per person (each way), you can fly from MoBay to Negril’s tiny airport. The flight takes about 15 minutes. Usually you don’t need reservations; often a representative of Tim Air will be at the airport offering flights. When you get into Negril, the airfield is about a five-minute drive from Hedonism.

Domestic air carriers which offer the quick flights are:

Driving to Hedonism

Your stay at Hedo includes free transfers to Negril and back, usually in small buses or mini-vans. The ride travels along a new highway which connects Montego Bay and Negril. The ride travels through several small communities: Hopewell, Lucea (pronounced Lucy), and Green Island, before reaching Hedonism II on the north side of Negril.

Budget 70-90 minutes for the drive.

While tipping at the resort is prohibited, the ride from MoBay to Negril is with a private operator so tips are appreciated.

Tipping at Hedonism II

Like all SuperClubs resorts, tipping is prohibited at Hedonism II. This means no tips for bellmen, maids, or meal service.

However, your transfer to and from MoBay is with a private contractor so tips are appreciated.

Tips are also appropriate if you sign up for outside tours, catamaran rides, etc.
