Theme Nights at Hedonism II

From Hedonism II Special Section

Theme nights at Hedonism II are more than just the evening’s entertainment – for some repeat guests, they’re nights to plan the whole trip around. Although every night has a special theme with a nightly show, two nights especially stand out:

Tuesday: pajama night
Thursday: toga night

Pajama Night

Don’t pack the flannel jammies for this night: this is a bare as you dare evening, whether that means lacy or leather. Guests wear their lingerie throughout the evening and then the PJ party continues in the disco.

Toga Night

Hedonism’s most famous theme night, toga night’s motto is “No sheet, no eat.” Sheets are delivered to guest rooms throughout the day for guests to fashion into togas. (Many repeat guests, however, bring custom-made togas from home.) Togas are often reveal far more than Julius Caesar would have shared show. In fact, the dress code for Pastafari and the other specialty restaurants deems “sheets are allowed on Toga Night but we kindly ask that all essentials be covered.” The evening culminates in a toga parade and competition.

Other theme nights are:

Monday: reggae night, with a reggae show and theme party in the disco

Wednesday: Mardi Gras with a Mardi Gras theme on the main stage

Friday: Pleasure Pirates and Circus Show. This gala night (the final for many guests since Saturday is a big changeout day) has the biggest buffet because all specialty restaurants are closed. Dress is casual: barefeet are encouraged. After the indoor show (including a fire eater), guests go tot he trapeze outside for a high wire show.

Saturday: Sometimes a quiet night because of changeouts (well, not really a quiet night since there is no such thing at Hedo), this night’s show is a Hedo showcase followed by a soca party and competition.

Sunday: Oldies night, with a bellbottom theme and an oldies dance competition.
