Hiking

Several hikes are available for honeymooners interested in environmental and archaeological sites. The Abideen Cave, located on the far east side of the island, is a good hike. Follow the main road as far as possible, then walk to the light tower. Follow the coast through a big field of Turks Head cacti and frangipani and turn west to go to the cave. Sometimes dolphin can be spotted in the channel that divides this far east end from Scrub Island.

Another good hike is to the cave at Katuche Bay. Park by the Governor's residence off the main road in George Hill, cross the road and look for the entrance to the trail. The trail leads to Cavanna Cave, a site once mined for phosphorus. The trail is well marked and fairly easy for most walkers. It crosses a former 1800s cotton plantation and is the only closed canopy walk in Anguilla.

Cycling

With its flat grade and light traffic, Anguilla makes a good destination for cyclists. Rentals are available.
