Gatlinburg Space Needle
It's tough to miss the Gatlinburg Sky Needle: just look
up! From just about any point in town, you'll be able to spot the distinctive
tower on the horizon. Soaring 342 feet above the city, this tower dates
back to 1970.
The main activity at the tower is the annual dropping of
the ball and fireworks held every New Year's Eve. The rest of the year,
though, you'll find plenty of reasons to visit the tower. An observation
deck offers a bird's eye view of the region; kids enjoy laser tag, a virtual
reality simulated roller coaster, miniature golf, and arcade games here.
