Aquarium of the Smokies
If we had to choose one attraction to see
in Gatlinburg, it would be Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. This world-class
aquarium contains a full day's worth of activities and exhibits that range
from a tropical rain forest to a coral reef to a shark lagoon. Live feedings
are a highlight in several tanks while the hands-on approach draws
visitors to Ray Bay for a chance to get up close and personal with small
rays. A walk-through tunnel gives visitors the chance to feel like part
of the aquarium itself.
