When's the most expensive time to visit in Gatlinburg?
From mid-June through mid-August, October, and the holidays (Valentine's,
Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and the period
from Christmas to New Year's) are the most expensive period. Expect to
pay highest rates for rooms and need to book in advance during these times.
The mid-range season includes early June, September, November,
and December. Rates are slightly less expensive during this period (especially
Sunday-Thursday nights.)
The cheapest time to visit Gatlinburg is from January through
May.
