Weddings at Miss Caroline's Country Wedding Chapel
Maggie Valley, North Carolina

Like angels on high, a mist hovers over the mountains in the distance as couples are joined in holy matrimony at Miss Caroline's Country Wedding Chapel, a sentimental site located in Maggie Valley, North Carolina.

Wedding Packages: The venue offers a variety of packages to accommodate every budget, starting with the "Rosebud Wedding," a couples only packages which can be held Monday through Thursday inside the country chapel, gazebo or in front of the waterfall. Symbolizing a friendship which has blossomed into love, the bride carries a single rose to the altar as traditional music plays in the background. The event is captured for posterity in a series of 10 4X6 images.

"Tanzanite Wedding" is the venue's most opulent ode to devotion. Conducted in the presence of 21-45 guests inside the Enchanted Chapel, the package offers bouquets both for the bride and her Maid of Honor, boutonnieres for the groom and best man, and music for nuptials which include a Unity candle ceremony, all captured on a video/DVD. The newlyweds can also leaf through a complimentary wedding album filled with 20 5 X7 images as they enjoy the items tucked inside their honeymoon gift basket.

Receptions: A woodland mural adorns the walls of the reception area, where guests dine on oval tables draped in tan and forest green tablecloths. Packages range from the one hour, budget-conscious "Opal Reception," which provides dining utensils and assorted nibbles for up to 20 guests, to the lavish "Glitter Gold Reception," 90 minutes of merriment which offers a three-tier wedding cake and platters of cheese, vegetables and fruit served with meats and chicken bites.

Wedding venues: In the Country Chapel, the bride walks on a hardwood floor past rows of rustic wooden pews which hold up to 20 guests, her eyes catching sight of the cross that adorns a stained glass window positioned behind the pulpit where she will unite in wedlock with the man she loves. Floral arrangements fastened to candelabras and window sills add to the romantic ambiance.

Inside the Enchanted Chapel, the glow from chandeliers dangling overhead reflects against the hardwood floors which lead up to an an altar embellished with floral displays, candelabras and a trompe-l'oeil wall mural depicting stonework and an elegant archway. Up to 45 guests can watch the proceedings from rows of wooden pews upholstered with power blue fabric.

For the nature lover, the cheerful chirp of songbirds serenade brides who walk down a brick path leading to a flower-bedecked gazebo, and the joyous splash of water applauds couples who exchange vows by the site's small waterfall.
