What should the two of you expect from Ireland's weather?

Think about Ireland's weather and you'll probably picture drizzly, cool days perfect for finding a little corner booth for two in a neighborhood pub. After all, the Romans called Ireland Hibernia or "the land of perpetual winter" so you know that you're not expecting sunburn conditions here.

But Ireland's weather is much milder than many couples expect.

May and June are downright sunny and Dublin has many temperate days, thanks to the cooling effect it gets from the Gulf Stream.

July and August are the wettest months but, just in case, pack an umbrella any time you visit.
