Weddings in Prague
If you dream of a romantic European wedding filled with history and tradition, the lovely city of Prague just might be the place. From its historic Prague Castle to its charming squares, this city has long inspired artists and writers -- and might inspire you to plan your own fairy-tale wedding. To find out more, Lovetripper interviewed Petra Hofman, owner of White Prague Wedding Agency, for her insight into planning a Prague wedding. What
aspects of Prague make it a romantic wedding destination? Prague is an architectural
gem in the heart of Europe. Enchanting cobblestone streets lined
with royal palaces, street-corner taverns, ancient bridges offering
charming vistas of Prague Castle, the largest inhibited castle
in the world. History breathes on you every step you make. Cozy
arcades, leading you to hidden and secluded squares, palace gardens
and many more.
Let yourself wander
between the Old Town, Lesser Town and New Town and stray away
to places you havent imagined can exist. Street opening
galleries, cafés, bars, restaurants, amongst which you
can find the right place just for you, quite and peaceful or boasting
with life and lively people of Prague. Get carried away listening
to musicians playing in the streets and forget the world while
roaming through Prague in a horse drawn carriage. Prague simply captures your imagination, seducing you with unblemished character and, at the same time, ripened culture. Prague comprises the charm of Paris, the authentic sights of Tuscany, and the magic of Venice, yet it is touched by the rhythm and style of a modern metropolis. How
difficult is it for foreigners to marry in Prague? What are the
regulations for foreigners marrying in Prague? It is fairly simple
for foreigners to get married in Prague. Civil and Religious weddings
in the Czech Republic are fully recognized by respective legal
systems for all the nationalities from around the world. Generally required
documents from the country of your origin are:
These documents are
required in order to guarantee that the marriage entered into
in the Czech Republic will also be recognized by law in the foreign
applicant's native country. All documents mentioned above issued in the country of your origin must be legalized by a governmental stamp called Apostille that certifies documents of origin for use in the Czech Republic.
