globe--fun even if it's just a fantasy!
OneWorld
This airline alliance includes American Airlines, Aer Lingus,
British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, Lan Chile, and
Qantas. Pricing is by the number of zones you travel. A big bonus:
OneWorld RTW ticket itineraries can be changed during the trip
for a small fee.

Alliance
The alliance of Air Canada, Air New Zealand, All Nippon, Austrian
Airlines, British Midland, Lauda Air, Lufthansa, Mexicana, SAS,
Thai Airways, Singapore airlines, Tyrolean Airways, United, and
Varig offers tickets with anywhere from 3 to 15 stops. At a low
cost, you can change your itinerary while en route.
