What's the shortest line between two points?

A direct line.

But did you know the shortest flight between two points may not be a direct flight?

A direct flight means that the flight travels from one point to another, without a change of planes. It DOESN'T mean that the flight won't stop along the way. A direct flight may very well stop between two cities, picking up more passengers and letting off others.

A non-stop flight is a flight which does not stop between destinations.
