Some destinations offer clothing-optional beaches (sometimes abbreviated c/o beaches). As the name suggests, these are beaches which offer you the option of wearing a swimsuit or not (or half a suit, should you choose to go topless.) These beaches are different from nude beaches--stretch of sand where nudity is required (to prevent gawkers.) Facilities at clothing-optional resort beaches vary; some are remote, isolated beaches (like Antigua's Hawksbill); others have all full menu of activities as well as beach grills and bars (like Grand Lido Braco or Hedoniam II and III). Keep in mind that clothing-optional beaches at a resort don't imply that the entire resort is clothing-optional; most require clothing in restaurants and all public areas as well as on beaches which aren't designated clothing-optional.
