Check-In Time

You know this one: check in time is, obviously, the time you can check in to your hotel or resort room.

But how does that influence your travel plans?

It might influence the flight you select. If you arrive too early, you very well may not be able to check into your room for hours (this often happens with overseas flights, when you might arrive in London at 6:30am and not be able to check in until after lunch.)

What can you do if this happens?

1. Arrange to leave your bags with the bellman. Grab what you think you'll need for the day, lock your bags, then head off to enjoy your day. If you're coming off an overseas flight, there's no better cure for jetlag than to keep moving!
2. See if the resort has a courtesy changing room. If you are headed to a beach resort, they'll often offer you a courtesy changing room where you can slip into your swimsuit and start your vacation right away, soaking up some sun while you wait for your room
