Once run under the moniker of Chateau Elysee, this replica of a 17th century French-Norman castle offers an eagle's eye view of the Hollywood Hills from its sixth floor terrace, just one of the many sites available for weddings and receptions at the present home of The Church of Scientology.

Those who wish a ceremony closer to earth may use the Franklin flower garden, where the trickle of a waterfall serenades up to 275 guests as they watch the bride and groom say “I do” framed beneath the shelter of a wisteria-cloaked gazebo.

Nature lovers who would like the convenience of an indoor wedding can use the Garden Pavilion, an impressive structure composed of iron and glass that can accommodate groups of up to 420 guests. The aptly named Renaissance Restaurant is also on hand for weddings and receptions. The services of a wedding planner are available.

Hollywood History:

Back in the twilight days of the roaring 20's, this imposing edifice was an apartment complex and home to several of Tinseltown’s top stars, including Humphrey Bogart, Ginger Rogers and Clark Gable.
