Jeanne Tripplehorn

Actress Jeanne Tripplehorn looked ethereal in a streamlined creation with a bateau neckline by Venezuelan-born designer Angel Sanchez.

Paula Abdul

While today Badgley Mischka is known for their celebrity bridal clientele (Tori Spelling, Trista Rehn and Rebecca Romijn are just a few who have said "I do" in gowns embellished with their trademark intricate beadwork) it was none other than "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul who began the trend when she requested a baby pink design with a sweetheart neckline for her wedding to sportswear designer Brad Beckerman.

Kimora Lee Simmons

Baby Phat founder Kimora Lee Simmons chose designer Susan Lazar, who has delved into all aspects of the fashion world from women's sportswear to her Egg line of maternity and toddler's clothes, to create a sophisticated white matte jersey dress, which the bride paired with a diamond tiara and chapel-length chiffon veil.

"Baywatch" Brides

The former "Baywatch" babes may be best known for wearing the cult hit's trademark red swimsuit, but when it came time to say "I do" each woman chose to tie the knot in a fairytale dress.

Traci Bingham donned a white satin Escada gown with a hand-beaded bodice which flowed into a tulle ballgown skirt..... Gena Lee Nolin turned to designer Monique Lhuillier for a gown comprised of a lace bodice embraced at the waist with an ecru-colored sash which led to a full ballgown skirt......Although she walked down the aisle to Chris Isaaks' "Wicked Game", Yasmine Bleeth was the picture of innocence in a strapless white satin gown with a sweetheart neckline designed by Ulla-Maija.....Alicia Richter hit a home run with her V-necked, white satin Vera Wang creation..... Millions of television viewers were able to share Carmen Electra's joy when she vowed "'Til Death Do Us Part" to rocker Dave Navarro in an elaborately beaded Badgley Mischka dream gown.

Renee Zellweger

When love took actress Renee Zellweger by surprise the Oscar winner relied on designer Carolina Herrera, who created Caroline Kennedy's wedding dress years before, to concoct a sophisticated strapless ivory gown which would add a touch of old Hollywood glamour to her impromptu Caribbean ceremony.

Star Jones

One of today's most versatile designers, Reem Acra's styles range from opulent attire for prominent society weddings, including Star Jones' strapless silk taffeta gown with its body-conscious silhouette, to apparel for intimate occasions, such as the sensuous ivory silk charmeuse number with a plunging neckline worn by "Married.....With Children" star Katey Sagal.

Melissa Joan Hart

"Sabrina The Teenage Witch" star Melissa Joan Hart also turned to Reem Acra for her strapless gown with a ballroom skirt, which she wore in a fairytale wedding in Florence, Italy.

Soleil Moon Frye

Melissa's "Sabrina" co-star Soleil Moon Frye opted for a scooped-necked white satin gown with a full skirt by Celeste for her 1998 vows in Cancun, to which she added a pair of white opera-length gloves for a dramatic effect.

Hilary Swank

Hilary Swank is known for her hard-hitting, Oscar-winning performances onscreen, but when the "Million Dollar Baby" exchanged vows with actor Chad Lowe she was the essence of femininity in an off-the-shoulder, silk and tulle gown with lace accents by Alvina Valenta.

Cindy Crawford

Supermodel Cindy Crawford donned a body-baring slip dress by John Galiano for her 1998 beach ceremony with Rande Gerber. Delicate lace draped over a white lining provided the perfect canvas for her sun-bronzed figure.

Heidi Klum

Supermodel Heidi Klum was five months along in her pregnancy when she walked down the aisle in an ivory Vera Wang creation with an Empire waist which proudly displayed her burgeoning figure. Constructed of Chantilly lace, the gown was reminiscent of Regency era regality.

Donna Karan

Designer Donna Karan was also inspired by the romantic looks of yesteryear when she created an Edwardian-influenced tulle gown accented with crystal beads for music legend Barbra Streisand. The ultrafeminine frock was accented with a 15-foot veil and an antique diamond and pearl choker.

Kate Winslet

Kate Winslet, who wed director Jim Threapleton one year after the release of Titanic, was also influenced by the Edwardian era, wearing an Alexander McQueen creation for the house of Givenchy dripping with thousands of antique beads.

Christie Brinkley

A snow white Giorio Armani jacket paired with a floor-length skirt with a sweeping train in the same pristine shade symbolized a new beginning for all-American supermodel Christie Brinkley, who wed Peter Cook in an outdoor ceremony in the Hamptons.

Camilla Parker Bowles

While most women take on the surname of their spouse upon marriage, when Camilla Parker Bowles said "I do" to Prince Charles in a knee-length chiffon dress paired with a silk coat designed by Robinson Valentine she also gained a title, becoming the Duchess of Cornwall and the future princess consort.

While the frock worn for the civil ceremony was considered conservative, the bride dazzled during the blessing service in another Robinson Valentine creation-- a porcelain blue coat dress with metallic thread woven into the fabric to give the gown a pearlescent shimmer. The bride topped off the look with a crown-like chapeau of golden feathers fashioned by Philip Treacy, who over the years has created headwear for Madonna and Boy George.
