The Ceremony: On the popular TV reality series "The
Bachelor", Bob Guiney chose Estella Gardinier among the
bevy of beauties vying for his attention, and even went so far
as to present his costar with a promise ring. However, in the
end Bachelor Bob promised to love, honor and cherish another--
soap star Rebecca Budig. Deciding to create their own fireworks
that fourth of July weekend, the couple invited thirty-five
friends and family members to Guiney's lakeside home to bear
witness as they professed their love through self-created vows.
The Dress: In celebration of the nation's birthday, it
seemed only fitting that the bride walked down the aisle to
"Thunder Road" by American music icon Bruce Springsteen.
Rebecca chose a simple white, two-piece cotton dress in keeping
with the relaxed holiday atmosphere.
The Reception: Changing into swimming attire, the couple
and their guests baptized the union with a dip in the lake before
dining on barbequed chicken.
