The Ceremony: As the euphoric strains of Stevie Wonder's "Overjoyed" blended with the rush of waves that danced in the sunset, sixty friends and family members watched as the bride and groom held hands beneath a white canopy, reciting heartfelt vows at a ceremony in which both their Jewish and African-American cultures took center stage. The magic of the Caribbean locale had captured the heart of the groom back in 1998, when the then unknown actor portrayed the role of Angela Bassett's young lover in the romantic escapade "How Stella Got Her Groove Back."

The Dress: Carrying small yellow and orange nosegays, the sun-kissed complexions of the bridesmaids were emphasized by their pristine white corset tops by New York City lingerie boutique La Petite Coquette and sand-colored skirts with a ruffled hem created by French designer Christiane Celle of Calypso. Wearing a white strapless Bagley Mishka gown touched with the ornate crystal beadwork for which the design house is famous, the bride walked toward her intended, her diaphanous veil gently grazing the carpet of rose petals which marked her path. Her brunette tresses, adorned with a sprinkling of white blossoms, was worn in a upswept hairstyle. The groom donned an-off white suit by John Varvatos, which he wore without a tie to coincede with the relaxed atmosphere of the precedings.

The reception: A five-tier cake with a wicker motif embellished with leaves and pale yellow roses awaited the guests as they converged upon the hotel's terrace for the reception.
