Who: heiress
and handbag designer Nicky Hilton and money manager Todd Meister
When: The early morning hours of August 15, 2004
Where: The Vegas Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada
The Ceremony: Fellow Sin City revelers had no idea that
Paris' younger sibling had marriage on her mind as the socialite
siren spent a hot August weekend in full party mode at The Palm
Casino alongside bosom buddies Kimberly Stewart (daughter of
rocker Rod Stewart), Bijou Phillips and Tara Reid.
The dawn of a new
day, however, also meant the dawn of a new life as a married
lady when the bride recited her vows to Todd Meister in a flower-laden
room of The Las Vegas Wedding Chapel at 2:30 AM. "I Will
Always Love You", the song made famous by Whitney Houston,
was heard by the few witnesses privileged to be a part of the
one hour ceremony.
The dress: The style maven chose a thigh-length, electric
blue halter dress accented by an elbow-length veil, a delicate
diamond cross necklace and a starburst pendant which sparkled
in the light of the unity candle. Playing it casual for the
big event, the groom wore blue jeans and a black, partially
unbuttoned shirt embellished with a white rose boutonniere.
Paris Hilton, who escorted her sister to the altar, wore a halter
dress in her signature color-- pink.
The Honeymoon: Leaving Las Vegas, the couple's first hours
as man and wife were spent at Tinseltown landmark The Beverly
Hills Hotel before their jet set lives took the lovebirds in
different directions-- the bride to Cabo San Lucas to pose
for a magazine cover, the groom to the East coast to resume
work.
