Young & Restless Star Melody Scott Thomas Renews Vows

Who: actress Melody Thomas Scott ("The Young and The Restless") and Edward Scott, the supervising producer of the CBS daytime drama

When: June 27, 2005

Where: The couple professed their devotion once again in the Primrose Court of the Wynn Las Vegas hotel and casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Ceremony: Perfumed rose petals paved the way as the actress strolled past thirty family and friends sitting beneath towering palm trees, on hand to witness a couple honoring their years together with a celebratory ceremony. As the pair stood framed against a flower-bedecked arbor, Melody's husband slipped onto her finger a ring graced with three stones-- a symbol of the love they have shared in the past, enjoy in the present, and will create together in the years ahead.

The Dress: In 1985, two hundred and fifty guests watched as the bride made her walk down the aisle in a pristine white gown fashioned with a wedding-band collar and illusion both above the bustline and on the fitted sleeves. As she again pledged her heart to the man she wed twenty years before, the actress donned an eggshell white creation from Les Habitudes, composed of a floor-length tulle skirt and a corset bodice with a basque waist and scooped neckline, which showcased a diamond necklace and diamond drop earrings from jeweler to the stars Harry Winston. In contrast to her loosely upswept hairstyle worn at her wedding, Melody wore her blonde locks in a smooth, refined bun, held back with a diamond headband.

The couple's three daughters, each clutching a bouquet of pink and yellow roses, stood by their parents in pastel gowns. The youngest of the trio wore a pale pink tea-length dress paired with high-heeled silver strap sandals, while her siblings were garbed in floor-length gowns, one a vibrant pink hue, the other lilac-colored.

The Reception: Alex's restaurant, housed in the Wynn Las Vegas, provided a succulent repast of braised ribs and red prawns, and a picture perfect four-tier cake decorated with white frosting and accented with a cascading trail of deep pink sugar roses awaited cutting by the happy couple.
