Where: Vows were spoken inside St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Manhattan.

The Ceremony: A carpet of perfumed rose petals strewn by forty-seven flower girls stretched out in front of the bride as the singer made her way down the aisle of the French High Gothic-inspired cathedral, her eyes fixed on her intended. An eclectic gathering of three hundred guests, including Ozzy Osbourne, Barbra Streisand and Billy Joel, witnessed the union.

The Dress: Mariah chose designer to the stars Vera Wang to create a wedding gown fit for a pop princess. Fashioned of ivory duchesse satin, the off the shoulder, sweetheart neckline emphasized the romance of the moment, and the intricate beadwork embellishing the bodice flowed into a billowing ballgown skirt, to which a twenty-seven foot long train was attached. Upon her hair, which she wore in its natural state for the day, rested a diadem, to which a diaphanous veil was fastened. A cascading bouquet completed the fairytale effect. (The singer would wear her wedding gown once again in the 2005 video "We Belong Together.")

The groom added a touch of old Hollywood glamour with his attire--white tie and tails.

The Reception: A shower of rose petals drifted down upon the bride and groom as they carefully descended the rain-soaked steps of the house of worship and made their way to the Metropolitan Club, where a culinary feast of grilled shrimp, chicken and a wedding cake concocted by Sylvia Weinstock awaited the guests.
