The Ceremony:  Fans of daytime television will recognize the imposing manor house and manicured lawn of Greystone Mansion as the venue used for the nuptials of General Hospital's Luke and Laura Spencer in what was to become the most watched event in soap opera history.  

Positioned on a hilltop overlooking The City of Angels, this Tinseltown landmark was a silent witness as the tune "I'm In The Mood For Love" was played and cinematic icon Kirk Douglas made his way past three hundred of Hollywood's most renowned figures, including Lauren Bacall, Anjelica Huston, Merv Griffin and former First Lady Nancy Reagan, to await the arrival of the woman with whom he has shared the past half century.

Memories of their 1954 Las Vegas wedding surely flooded the mind of Anne Douglas as she was first serenaded with the strains of the wedding march, which melted into the sentimental classic "Love and Marriage". Joining her husband beneath a rose-wreathed chuppah, the couple recommitted themselves to each other in a traditional Jewish ceremony.

The Dress: The Hollywood royals chose refined attire for the event. Anne Douglas wore an understated white floor-length gown accessorized with a strand of pearls and pearl button earrings. The actor opted for a dapper light grey suit.

Special Moments: Looking forward to the rest of their days together, Kirk Douglas put pen to paper to compose a heart-felt composition he titled "Please Stay In Love With Me", which he performed for his wife.
