The Ceremony: The Independence Day celebration was fashioned as a family get together, with the bride's brother supporting his sibling in lieu of a bridesmaid, the groom's twelve year old son standing by his father as best man, and the couple's five canine companions among the assembled guests. Clutching a small bouquet of wildflowers which had been gathered by her intended, the bride's declaration of love echoed on the hilltop of the expansive ranch as the sun began to melt in the Montana sky.

The Dress: Capturing the romance of the moment yet still harmonizing with the wedding's casual theme, the bride chose a simple white lace dress for the nuptials.

The Ring: The couple have strong ties to the city of Austin, Texas-- not only is the capital of the Lone Star state the bride's home town, but for the groom, who is a part-time musician and avid music aficionado, The Live Music Capital of The World has long been a second home. It seemed only appropriate that a jeweler from the city should design the rings which would bind their union, and for the honor the couple chose their friends, Anthony Camargo and David Nakard Armstrong of Austin-based Anthony Nak [click for more on the ring]. The bride's engagement ring was composed of a three carat canary diamond, purchased by the groom while working in Africa, which was placed on a platinum band adorned with 254 white diamonds. Hidden within the groom's simple platinum band is a miniature version of the triangular-shaped gem.

The Reception: Although it was the 4th of July, the fireworks that illuminated the night sky seemed to be meant only for the newly-pronounced husband and wife.
