Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards' Wedding

Who: Actor Charlie Sheen and actress Denise Richards

Where: Brentwood, California

When: June 15, 2002

The Ceremony: The creator of Spin City provided the grounds of his Brentwood estate for this ceremony. The couple exchanged vows under a rose arch dotted by over 1000 blooms. Many well-known names appeared on the guest list of this ceremony including family members Martin Sheen, Emilio Estevez, and friends Luke Wilson, Steven Spielberg, Heather Locklear, and Richie Sambora, Angie Harmon, Jason Sehorn, Brooke Shields and Chris Henchy .

The Dress: The bride wore a Giorgio Armani scooped-necked gown in antique white along with a beaded jacket.

A Special Moment: When their vows were completed, Denise had a very special surprise waiting for Charlie: a choir singing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame." The surprise was a reflection of the new groom's love of the game.

The Reception: The couple had practiced long and hard for their time on the dance floor, even taking lessons to get it right. Their first dance was "Open Arms" by Journey. At the reception, guests enjoyed a wide array of foods including minestrone, risotto tartufo, beef filet with potatoes, spinach and asparagus. Fortunately most saved room for a taste of the wedding cake, which included a base of chocolate fudge, a second tier of banana nut, and a top tier of white satin.

Add some starlit touches of your own...

If you liked Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen's nuptials, consider how you can add some stellar touches to your own ceremony. For example:

• Denise and Charlie took dance lessons before their wedding so they could not only look good together on the dance floor but enjoy the dancing as well. Consider a dance lesson with your guy!

• Who says you have to settle on just one cake flavor? Do as Charlie and Denise did and reflect all your tastes with a multi-tiered cake in different flavors.

• Consider a suprise for your guy after the ceremony or at the reception, on reflecting his interests.
