Where: The couple pledged their love in an outdoor ceremony held at Hotel Casa del Mar in Santa Monica, California.

Pre-wedding festivities: Clutching an arrangement of netting and ribbon which represented her bridal bouquet, the actress rehearsed her walk down the aisle in a peach-colored, floor-length halter dress the day prior to the nuptials. After practicing their ceremonial roles, the wedding party convened at Shutters on the Beach Hotel for dinner. The luxury hotel offers two culinary experieces, with Pedals Cafe supplying a relaxed atmosphere and One Pico restaurant offering more sophisticated fare.

The Ceremony: The Pacific Ocean provided a dramatic backdrop as two cherubic flowers girls with wreaths of red blossoms in their hair preceeded down the aisle ahead of seven bridesmaids. Two hundred guests, including "One Tree Hill" cast members Bethany Joy Lenz and Tyler Hilton, stood as the bride made her way toward a rose-bedecked altar where her intended waited to place a wedding band, (which had been carried by ringbearer Charlie, one of the couple's five canine companions) on to her finger. A platinum engagement ring enhanced with a cushion-cut diamond, which had been presented to her during a romantic rendezvous in Australia, already graced the star's hand.

The Dress: Innocence and elegance combined in the bride's Vera Wang creation-- a white, strapless design with a fitted bodice which flowed into a ballgown skirt. A diaphanous veil was fastened to Sophia's brunette tresses, which were gathered together in a loose, upswept style. A bouquet of calla lilies wrapped in ribbon completed the all-white effect.
A warm pallette of colors was chosen for the bridesmaid's bouquets, which included orange, red, yellow, pink and peach roses tied together with red ribbon, providing a perfect compliment to the bridesmaid's tea-length, apple green chiffon dresses by Vera Wang.

The groom looked stylish in a black suit by Ralph Lauren, which was offset with a white shirt, beige tie and a cala lily boutonniere.

The Reception: After slicing into a four-tiered wedding cake adorned with white frosting and brightly-colored flower accents, the couple and their guests dined on beef tenderloin, salmon, Portobello mushroom ravioli and warm apple tart for dessert. Later, the newlyweds only had eyes for each other as they swayed to Frank Sinatra's classic "That's All" during their first dance together as husband and wife.

The Wedding Registry: The couple's down-to-earth taste was evident in the array of items chosen for their wedding registry at Crate & Barrel, where the newlyweds picked out a simple white Staccato dinnerware set (many of the pieces cost less than $25), a pair of Callaway flutes to toast to their love, and Birgitta wine goblets. A set of stainless steel cooking utensils and a fondue pot were on the list at Williams-Sonoma. The couple also requested wedding gifts from Pottery Barn.

The Honeymoon: Several celebrity weddings and receptions, including that of Blink-182's Travis Barker, "Baywatch" actress Yasmine Bleeth and "Will & Grace" star Debra Messing were held at the Spanish Colonial-influenced Bacara Resort and Spa in Santa Barbara, where the bride and groom spent a short honeymoon.
