Who: Alex
Band of The Calling and "Cleopatra 2525" actress Jennifer
Sky When: July 24, 2004 Where: The
nuptials took place on the beach in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The Proposal:
Although only in his early twenties, the groom has an old soul
and surprised his lady love on Christmas Day 2003 with a gift
of an old chest containing an antique engagement ring. The Ceremony: The Calling's romantic anthem may have been titled "Wherever
You May Go", but for the betrothed pair there was no place
like home to recite their vows. Their four-year courtship culminated
in an intimate service held on the beach at their West Palm
Beach estate, which the couple share with their two cats. A
self-penned tune inspired by his love for his bride and sung
in her honor by the groom provided a memory to last a lifetime. The Dress: The bride wore an off-white, pleated dress with three-quarter length sleeves and a dramatic, flaired collar which offset her simple, upswept hairstyle. The groom opted for a traditional black suit and tie, embellished with a white flower boutonniere.
