The Ceremony: A chance meeting at the February 1999 nuptials of actor Jason Priestley blossomed into a romance that culminated in five days of pre-wedding festivities leading up to an afternoon ceremony at Skibo Castle, where one hundred guests, including then couple Salma Hayek and Ed Norton, watched as the bride, symbolizing her independence, walked alone down the aisle toward her intended and the presiding priest, Phil De Rea, who blessed their union as the groom slipped a wedding band alongside the star's platinum, 3-carat cushion-cut diamond engagement ring from jeweler Martin Katz.

The Dress: The castle's romantic aura was the perfect compliment to the bride's reported $70,000 Giorgio Armani gown -- a white silk-satin concoction with a Regency-inspired empire waist and capped sleeves enhanced with a long, diaphanous veil. The design was not a complete homage to a more innocent era, however-- a sexy, cut-away back lent a modern touch to the ensemble.
