Pre-wedding Festivities: The couple enjoyed a week long celebration of their upcoming nuptials, including a bachelor party held at Gastineau hotspot Club Fusion and a wedding rehearsal dinner at The Courtyard in the Byward Market.

The Ceremony: A dove, symbolic of the peace that the long-term partners felt in their hearts as they stood side by side at The Ottawa Congress Centre, was released into the morning sky at the commencement of the official union of the two "Amazing Race" contestants, which was witnessed by several hundred family and friends, including "Amazing Race 7" winners Joyce and Uchenna Agu, who sat upon satin chairs on a terrace adorned with brown and pink calla lillies. The couple, who had traveled from Cuzco, Peru to Jodhpur, India during their ordeal on the hit television program, had to take one more journey together from their home in California to Ottawa, where gay marriages are recognized, in order to bestow upon each other diamond and platinum wedding bands from Jubilee Fine Jewellers inscribed with one word which sums up their lives together-- "Amazing."

Wedding Attire: Both men chose dark brown suits from clothing store The Bay, which were paired with pale pink Jack Lipson shirts and salmon-colored Liz Claiborne ties for an accent of color. In a gesture of gratitude to the country that made their wedding possible, the men wore small Canadian flags on their lapels.

The Reception: Guests dined at The Empire Grill before making their way to Suite 34 for a lively reception that included fire dancers and a Cher impersonator.

The Honeymoon: The newlyweds remained in Ottawa following the ceremony, relaxing with a variety of spa treatments, a hot-air balloon ride and a performance by Canadian crooner Michael Buble at the Lac Leamy Casino, located within the Hilton Lac-Leamy. It has also been reported that former talk show host Rosie O'Donnell has offered the couple a honeymoon cruise.
