Where: The couple exchanged vows in a seaside ceremony held on Cinnamon Bay on the island of St. John.

The Ceremony: A December proposal on the set of "All My Children" led to an early summer ceremony on the white sands of St. John in the Virgin Islands, where the bride walked down a carpet of bougainvilla petals toward her intended, who placed a wedding band on her finger alongside her engagement ring, which consists of two two bands of pink sapphires embracing an inner band of diamonds.

The Dress: The bride's chapel-length veil danced in the wind left in the wake of a storm which had rolled in prior to the commencement of the ceremony, the diaphanous material wrapping around Alexa's Monique Lhuillier gown, designed with a plunging V neckline. The gown's pure wite fabric formed a harmonious blend with the bride's alabaster complexion, a dramatic contrast to the bronzed groom, who wore a sand-colored suit for the occasion.

Designers Kara Smith and Nina Firestone, who together have formed the clothing brand Karanina, created ballerina-length bridesmaid's dresses fashioned with a halter top in a tranquil blue hue that coincided with the cobalt sea, which provided a dramatic backdrop to the nuptials. Orchid bouquets similar to that of the bride helped to draw attention to the attendant's gifts from the actress-- bracelets by Gorjana, whose jewelry is favored by the likes of Cameron Diaz and Rachel Bilson from "The O.C." Dangle earrings by the same designer rounded out the look.

The Reception: Guests dined on such culinary delicacies as stuffed crab and conch chowder on tables set by a pool reflecting the Doric columns which grace the veranda of the Coco De Mer villa. A three-tier pineapple rum cake from Sweet Sue Bakery adorned with an array of tropical flowers provided a sweet ending to the festivities.
