The
Wedding of Star Jones & Al Reynolds
Attire Bridesmaid's Apparel:
Natalie
Cole, Lela Rochon, Vivica A. Fox and Holly Robinson Peete walked
down the aisle ahead of Star wearing matching champagne-colored
satin gowns by Lazaro Bridal. Groom's Attire:
Sarno and Son Tuxedos have garbed men with impeccable style
for over half a century, and all the men in the wedding party,
from young footmen in white jackets and black trousers to the
groom in a classic black tux, donned the company's apparel for
the event.
Reception Gown:
Displeased with the wedding attire on the market when planning
her own wedding, fashion designer Amsale Aberra was inspired to
create her own line of bridal wear. Known for her refined, streamlined
style, Amsale gowns are coveted apparel for Hollywood beauties
such as Julia
Roberts, Halle Berry,
Jessica Simpson and Alyson
Hannigan, and her designs have been seen in several box office
hits, including Runaway Bride and American Wedding.
At the reception Star Jones changed into a white strapless Amsale
gown so she could dance the night away.
Wedding Gown:
Star Jones had dreamed of her wedding day since she was a little
girl, and to bring her dream to fruition she turned to designer
Reem Acra [see how to buy a Reem
Acra wedding dress on ebay], who had designed a bridal
gown with a touch of Gothic flair for "Beverly Hills 90210"
actress Jennie Garth. Another Reem Acra creation can be seen on
Reese Witherspoon in the romantic comedy Legally Blonde 2.
The Cake: Donald
Trump, Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown and Melissa Rivers are
just a few of Sylvia Weinstock's star-studded clientele, and the
co-host of "The View" turned to the confectionary artist
to create a ten foot tall wedding cake blooming with sugar orchids,
roses and tulips. Sylvia Weinstock unveils tricks of her trade
in her book, Sweet Celebrations.
Event Planner:
The ultimate event planner, David Tutera offers tips for throwing
a spectacular shindig in his three books: A Passion For Parties,
America Entertains: A Year of Imaginative Parties and The
Party Planner. More festive tidbits can be learned on David
Tutera's Party Planner, which airs weekdays on The Discovery
Channel.
The Invitations:
Encore Studios and The Stationery Studio provided elegant invitations
and reception menus with strolled writing embossed on a deep chocolate
exterior and light beige interior.
The Ring: It
seems only fitting that Al Reynolds chose a Princess cut diamond
for Star's engagement ring. The 5-carat sparkler was purchased
at Jacob & Co., which also provided a $180,000 necklace for
model Christy
Turlington to wear when she wed actor Ed Burns.
