Celebrity
Wedding Vendors:
Hair: The bride's
blonde tresses framed her face in a stylish manner thanks to stylist
Jo Hansford, proprietor of the Jo Hansford Salon in Mayfair, which
offers a range of Jo Hansford hair care products including shampoos,
conditioners, and a nourish and shine intensive treatment.
Hats: The creations
of Irish-born milliner Philip Treacy have crowned the coifs of
an eclectic menagerie of A-list celebrities over the years, including
Madonna, Grace Jones and Marilyn Manson. Known for his theatrical
headpieces, the designer conformed to convention for the bride's
civil ceremony, concocting a wide-brimmed straw hat adorned with
a froth of Irish lace and decorative plummage. His creative impulses
were let loose, however, on Camilla's bridal chapeau -- a show-stopping
hat fashioned of golden feathers which highlighted the bride's
face. Philip Treacy also offers a range of accessories, including
scarves, handbags and hair ornaments.
Makeup: While
love may have been responsible in part for Camilla's luminous
glow on her wedding day, the bride also received help from London-based
makeup artist Julia Biddlecombe, who counts among her clients
some of England's great beauties, including Elizabeth Hurley and
Joan Collins. Julia B. is available to style the bride, bridesmaids,
mother of the bride and children in the wedding party on the special
day.
Men's Attire:
Princes William and Harry set adolescent hearts aflutter as they
exited Windsor Castle in stylish morning suits obtained at Gieves
& Hawkes, which has provided aristocratic attire to England's
elite since the 16th century. The store offers both tailoring
services and an array of ready-to-wear, casual wear and accessories.
The groom's morning
suit was obtained at Anderson & Sheppard.
Nails: Along
with such notables as Madonna, Oprah WInfrey, Jennifer Lopez and
Naomi Campbell, Essie Cosmetics can also count the newly-titled
Duchess of Cornwall as a fan of their flamboyantly colored nail
polish. Camilla is partial to a pink-tinted shade known as "Sugar
Daddy."
Purse: At the
civil ceremony, the bride carried a small calf leather clutch
from Launer, which offers a wide range of handbags, wallets, coin
purses and credit card holders, all of which proudly display the
royal warrant of Queen Elizabeth II.
Rings: The bride and groom's band of Welsh gold were provided by Wartski, an antiques establishment which carries the royal warrant of the late Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth II and the Prince of Wales.
Shoes: Camilla
must have felt as though she was walking on air on her wedding
day, due in part to shoes fashioned by Linda Bennett, who can
boast such luminaries as Joan Collins, former Spice Girl Geri
Halliwell and the "Pretty Woman" herself, Julia Roberts
among her clientele. For the civil ceremony the bride wore a beige
shoe with a 1.9-inch heel which provided the illusion of an elongated
figure, while shoes which mirrored the pattern for the Robinson
Valentine wedding gown were donned for the more formal blessing.
