The Cake: Jane
Lockhart of Sweet Lady Jane has concocted confectionary perfection
for such celebrity brides as Jennifer Lopez and Carnie Wilson,
and for Pete and Bridgette a three-tiered lemon and strawberry
cake embellished with white buttercream icing and laced with actual
roses awaited the couple at their reception. In business since
1988, the Lady Jane Bakery offers a wide range of desserts and
gift baskets, and will ship select merchandise (brownies, lemon
bars and date bars).
The Cuisine:
Guests sampled risotto and fillet of beef provided by one of LA's
top restaurants, Patina, which is located in the Walt Disney Concert
Hall in Los Angeles. Serving French and American fare since 1989,
the proprietors of Patina have expanded their culinary offerings
to other restaurants throughout California.
Event Planner:
Robert Smith, owner of Laurels Custom Flora and Events, combined
forces with the bride's sister to create a relaxed yet elegant
ambiance for the couple's nuptials.
The Gown: Vera
Wang, a bridal empire offering everything from jewelry to eyewear,
continues to add to her illustrious roster of celebrity clients,
which include Jessica Simpson, Melania Knauss Trump, and Jennifer

Groom's Attire: The classic lines of designer Giorgio Armani has been chosen by a number of A-list grooms, including Marc Anthony, Harry Connick Jr., and James Van Der Beek. Leighton jewelers, who provided "something borrowed"
for Melania Knauss Trump, supplied the tennis champ's bride with
a $400,000 antique necklace and earrings for the ceremony.

bride's platinum engagement ring, showcasing an oval diamond offset
with small baguettes, was purchased at Cartier, one of the world's
most renowned jewelers. |
