Matt Damon Engaged to Luciana Barroso

September 2005--After a two-year courtship, Hollywood hunk Matt Damon asked for the hand
of interior designer Luciana Barroso, presenting his love with an engagement ring purchased from Seattle jeweler Alvin Galdfarb just prior to the Labor Day weekend.

The couple, who have yet to set a wedding date, have recently purchased a home in the Miami area, where they will raise Luciana's six-year-old daughter.
