"Eclipse" Films in Port Moody

While the interior of the Port Moody Arts Centre is home to works of art by both local and international artists, the building's exterior became part of a potential movie masterpiece on September 23rd as cameras rolled while Robert Pattinson-- in the role of vampiric vision Edward Cullen-- filmed a scene for Eclipse with his silver screen soul mate, Kristen Stewart, the Vancouver Sun reported.

Fans in the area who missed the "stupid shiny Volvo owner" can still visit the venue, which is currently welcoming spectators to the 12th annual Port Moody Festival of The Arts, going on from September 24 - October 4th.

Sightings of "Twilight" Stars in Vancouver

Since opening its doors in 1995, General Motors Place (which will serve as the site for ice hockey matches during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games) has echoed with the screams of both sports and music fans. However, on the evening of August 15, 2009 concert goers at the Vancouver venue made some noise not only for Kings of Leon as they took the stage, but also for Twilight twosome Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

Pleasing their palates before the concert, no doubt the pair of paparazzi magnets and their Eclipse cast mates caught a glimpse of the Gastown steam clock-- a tourist attraction constructed in the late 1970's which is sure to spark the interest of any steampunk aficionado-- as they made their way inside the Water St. Cafe. The windows of the cozy eatery frame a view of the unique timepiece that stands opposite, its quarter hour chime and ghostly mist emitted from its steam engine creating a romantic, Victorian era aura for visitors of the historic district.

Sightings of Twilight stars have been numerous since pre-production began, and day prior to the concert cast members were spotted mulling over the menu at Miku, a Japanese restaurant known for serving aburi-style (scorched) sushi.

Twihards unable to visit Vancouver in the hopes of viewing their favorite vamps can still get an up close look at some of the costumes that helped to bring the characters of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan to life on the big screen. At Planet Hollywood in New York City, fans can peer at the prom dress worn by Kristen Stewart (a Max & Cleo sapphire silk creation that was a steal for $20 at a Ross Dress for Less) and the somber-toned suit that Robert Pattinson stepped into before dancing to "Flightless Bird" with his leading lady.

Note: Twilight prizes will be awarded for the winner's of Lovetripper's next contest, which starts September 1st!

Robert Pattinson Filming at Historic Ice Cream Parlor in Queens

Ever since he stepped on to the silver screen as lovelorn vamp Edward Cullen in Twilight, Robert Pattinson has been eye candy for millions of adorning fans, so perhaps there is no more fitting setting for sightseers to catch a glimpse of the star than a spot that sells sweet treats.

As cameras began to roll on a scene from his upcoming drama Remember Me, a pair of crimson doors acted as a portal from the past as Pattinson walked along the century-old store's historical hexagon-tiled floor and emerged from Eddie's Sweet Shop on to the sidewalk in the Queens neighborhood of Forest Hills.

While the nostalgic ice cream parlor-- with its neon soda sign beckoning customers to come inside and take a seat on a swivel stool at the counter-- served as a cinematic site, the delectable desserts may have inspired the star to sample some sweets during his time off the set. According to People magazine, RPattz pleased his palate with a cappuccino and chocolate mousse recently at Martine's Fine Bakery Shoppe in Tuckahoe, New York.

Robert Pattinson Filming in Central Park

No doubt fans were grinning like the proverbial Cheshire cat at the sight of Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson atop the Margarita Delacort Memorial, Central Park's shrine to Lewis Carroll's classic Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, as cameras rolled on the romantic drama Remember Me on June 30, 2009.

Looking much like a work of art himself as he sat in contemplation amid the company of a bronze Mad Hatter, March Hare and The White Rabbit, Pattinson was composed as a pack of paparazzi, growing "curiouser and curiouser," captured the moments on film.

For those who wish to visit the vision of sculptor Jose de Creeft, the Margarita Delacorte Memorial-- which has been enthusiastically climbed upon by children since 1959-- is located at 76th St. near Fifth Avenue close to the Conservatory Lake in Central Park.

112608: Robert Pattinson at The Plaza Hotel

Having made an indelible mark on the hearts of his fans, it seems only appropriate that actor Robert Pattinson would be among the A-list attendees at the Gucci Tattoo Heart Collection event held to benefit UNICEF, The Gossip Girls report.

The actor, who has brought author Stephenie Meyer's lovestruck vampire Edward Cullen to supernatural life in the screen adaptation of Twilight, strolled past the smiling portrait of Eloise from the classic series of Kay Thompson's children's books as he made his way to the soiree at The Plaza Hotel in New York City.

Destined to take a bite out of The Big Apple during his stay, the star had only recently touched down at JFK Airport following a flight which had originated at LAX.

Don't forget to enter Lovetripper's Twilight contest! All entries must be received by 11.59 on November 23, 2008.

110708: "Twilight" Star Robert Pattinson Meets Admirers in The Big Apple (videos)

Portraying a vampire tempted by the forbidden fruit of human love, the Apple store in SoHo seemed an appropriate venue for silver screen star Robert Pattinson to promote the highly anticipated cinematic retelling of Stephenie Meyer's supernatural best seller, Twilight. The actor's ardent admirers enjoyed an up close look at the London-born luminary on November 3rd during a Q&A with the movie's lead and its director, Catherine Hardwicke.

Currently roaming the Big Apple, the fan favorite will cement his place in movie history when he leaves his handprints for posterity during a November 4th ceremony in the main dining room of Planet Hollywood in Times Square, where memorabilia from Twilight will be on display.

104808: "Twilight" Star Robert Pattinson at Bardot

12th Annual Hollywood Film Festival's Awards
Illuminated by the warm glow of interior lighting, the gold toned walls of Bardot nightclub reflected in the eyes of actor Robert Pattinson last night, creating the illusion of vampire Edward Cullen's amber gaze-- the character for which he will be forever linked when Twilight, the movie adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's best selling novel, opens in theaters on November 21st.

Recently reborn as Bardot after its former life as the Spider Club, the venue has been transformed into a vintage vision of flapper era excess, complete with burlesque dancers whose come hither moves captivate audiences each Monday evening. October 27, 2008, however, was a night for Tinseltown talent to shine as the hot spot christened after one of cinema's most elusive actresses opened its doors for the silver screen's latest heart throb after his appearance at the 12th Annual Hollywood Film Festival Awards Gala and the 3rd Annual Starz Awards after-party, where the actor's just bestowed New Hollywood award gleamed in the light of a crescent moon as he mingled with industry icons during the pool-side soiree at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

103908: Multnomah Falls To Star in "Twilight"

06-twilight-400-0610.jpg
As Twilight descends in theaters across the country on November 21, 2008, movie goers gazing at actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart might also, with a little imagination, spot a spectral star on screen during a scene filmed at Multnomah Falls on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge-- the image of a Native American girl whose death long ago is said to have given birth to America's second largest continuously flowing waterfall.

According to legend, on the day that the young woman-- the daughter of the Multnomah tribe's chief-- married a warrior from the Clatsop clan an epidemic befell the bride's people. Advised by a tribal elder that the Great Spirit was angry and must be appeased with the sacrifice of a maiden with a pure heart, the Multnomah chief gathered his tribe's women to tell them of the dire prophesy. Finding himself unable to condemn anyone to death, however, the chief proclaimed that no one would give up their life.

Find Out About Lovetripper's Twilight Contest

One by one, those who had attended the wedding of the chief's daughter succumbed to the plague, and when the man she loved fell ill the destiny of the chief's daughter became clear. Stealing away in the night, the maiden jumped from a clifftop to the earth below, where her father found her lifeless body. As he cried out to the Great Spirit for proof that his child's death had meaning, droplets of water began to fall from the cliff's summit, eternally signifying the sacrifice of one young woman for her people and the man she loved.

Today, two million visitors each year walk along Benson bridge, which stands below the falls, and over the years there have been several sightings of a lady in white standing in the mist. Perhaps, if her soul lingered as the camera rolled, the Native American girl-- who was robbed of her own romance-- found comfort as she watched the immortal love story unfold.

72008: Historic Inn To Star in "Twilight" (Videos)

Destined to take a bite out of the box office upon its release on November 21, 2008, when movie theater light dim and Twilight appears on the silver screen a pivotal element in the story of an eternal love will play out against the backdrop of a historic hotel with its own tale to tell.

Like the hero of Stephenie Meyer's best selling novel, The View Point Inn in Corbett, Oregon seems to possess an undying spirit. Lording over the Columbia River Gorge, the beauty of the cliff top dwelling first beckoned to visitors back in the 1920's. While over the years such illustrious guests as silent screen legend Charlie Chaplin and President Franklin D. Roosevelt walked through the door of the boutique retreat, the arrival of an interstate in the 1960's drained the inn of its life's blood. Without the steady flow of patrons, the venue lay dormant until the arrival of its current owner, who has resurrected the Tudor Arts and Crafts-inspired venue and returned it to its former glory. Today, Twilighters can make their own immortal memories at the inn with Edward and Bella-inspired banquets, balls, birthday celebrations and more. For further information visit www.theviewpointinn.com.

As darkness descended over Corbett, Oregon, cameras rolled on the prom scene for the movie Twilight. Watch a moment of the magic between Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart) in the following Popstar Magazine clip:
