"American Idol" Contestant Jason Castro Reportedly Engaged

Although season 7 American Idol finalist Jason Castro is currently promoting "Let's Fall In Love Again", his just-released single from his forthcoming debut CD, the reality personality has yet another reason to feel like singing, as Mandy Mayhall has promised to be his bride.

Dressed as Beauty and The Beast for Halloween, the performer proposed in true fairytale fashion, on bended knee prior to the Oklahoma-Kansas State football game in Norman, Oklahoma, according to several sources including AceShowbiz, Examiner and AI Now. Although words did not fail him as he asked for his love's hand in marriage, the words "Marry me?"-- carved into a pumpkin at the event-- helped to bring the happiness of the moment home.

While cameras captured the occasion for posterity, the prospective groom and his bride-to-be have yet to publicly discuss their betrothed status or any details of their impending I do's.

Photos of The Bachelor's New Zealand Getaway

Love was in the air as 100 singles in search of a soul mate boarded an Air NZ matchmaking flight from Los Angeles to Auckland in mid-October. However, two passengers were already paired off-- The Bachelor's Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney, who were returning to relive the magic of the land that captured both of their hearts during the November 2008 filming of the ABC reality series.

Already comfortable in front of the camera due to their shared experience on the 13th season of The Bachelor, the happy couple's romantic getaway to Queenstown, which included a flight to Milford Sound with The Helicopter Line, a ride on Shotover Jet and skydiving with NZONE, was captured on film by Tourism NZ for future viewing by the fans who followed their televised love story.

After a stay at Eichardt's Private Hotel in the city's center, the pair found themselves back at the retreat where Mesnick's heart momentarily misled him into choosing another. Rectifying the wrong, on October 20, 2009 at the Kohara Lodge the bachelor slipped a diamond and platinum engagement ring into a glass of celebratory champagne,

Ivanka Trump's Wedding

"Just finished a gorgeous hike. The leaves are spectacular and the sun is shining. Everything is simply perfect! I'm getting married today!" Ivanka Trump Tweeted to her Twitter followers just hours before her walk down the aisle. No doubt the sunlight danced on the facets of the bride's 5.22-carat cushion-cut diamond engagement ring, which was joined by a wedding band later that day as the businesswoman and boardroom judge of The Celebrity Apprentice and New York Observer owner Jared Kushner, her fiance since July 2009, were pronounced husband and wife on October 25, 2009.

Inspired by the quiet elegance of Grace Kelly, the bride was a vision in a Vera Wang creation as she made her grand entrance, People magazine reported. The sparkle of a $90,000 platinum and diamond bracelet, $130,000 diamond and platinum earrings and $45,000 platinum and diamond hairpiece adding an extra glint of glamor as she strolled past a gathering of the more than 500 guests who had received Tiffany's invitations, including friends who had attended her August 22nd bachelorette party along the Hudson River as well as such glitterati as Natalie Portman, Russell Crowe and Barbara Walters. All looked on as the couple, whose bond was further strengthened by a faith which they now both share, were united as one in an Orthodox Jewish ceremony.

Following the nuptials, guests converged at a reception designed by event planner Preston Bailey, where attendees sampled slices of a Sylvia Weinstock-concocted cake as talk show host Regis Philbin serenaded the crowd. As the evening wore on, father of the bride Donald Trump raised his glass in a toast that summed up a priceless day of joy: "Be happy and enjoy your life."

Following a planned honeymoon excursion to Africa, the newlyweds will be busy writing Thank You notes for the many items received from their wedding registry list, which ranged from a sterling silver footed bowl from Tiffany's worth $1,350 to $3.95 cotton lapis napkins from Crate & Barrel.

"The Bachelor" Star Jason Mesnick Engaged

Instead of receiving the final rose from The Bachelor on season 13 of the ABC series, Molly Malaney's second chance romance with Jason Mesnick will lead to a bridal bouquet.

Although all three reality personalities learned that every rose has its thorns when Mesnick confessed his feeling to former fiancee Melissa Rycroft that his true soul mate was actually the woman he had let go, time has a way of healing all wounds. Rycroft, who waltzed her way into America's heart as a contestant on Dancing with The Stars, became betrothed to Tye Strickland on June 26, 2009, leaving Mesnick and Malaney to continue their long-distance relationship.

As the saying goes, absence makes the heart grow fonder, and People magazine reports that the distance between Seattle and Milwaukee did little to deter the couple's romance. On October 20, 2009, during a romantic getaway to New Zealand-- the same place where their relationship once came to a tearful end-- the bachelor mended the mistake he had made with a proposal. The pair have not announced a date for their impending I do's.

Bethenny Frankel of "The Real Housewives of New York City" Engaged

Bravo to Bethenny Frankel of The Real Housewives of New York City, who has announced that she is a bride-to-be. People magazine reports that on October 8, 2009 the reality personality accepted a proposal from Jason Hoppy, her love of the past 11 months.

Although the author of The Skinnygirl Rules and The Skinnygirl Dish has lived out her life in the public eye for the past two seasons of the Bravo series, only her canine companion Cookie was privy to the proposal in her Big Apple apartment as the prospective groom knelt and presented her with an engagement ring from jewelry designer Kristin Farrell. The warm glow of over 100 candles illuminating a room perfumed with scattered rose petals danced on the facets of the ring's crowning glory-- a 6 1/2-carat, pear-shaped diamond embraced by two smaller diamonds, for a total of eight carats.

Still enjoying the first days of betrothed bliss, the happy couple have yet to decide on a date for their I do's.

As former soap star/Hell's Kitchen winner Jennifer Ellison and semi-pro pugilist Robbie Tickle await the arrival of their first child at the start of the new year, the happy couple celebrated the birth of a new life together as husband and wife on October 10, 2009.

Although television viewers had watched her fictional walk down the aisle during her stint on Brookside, the Daily Mail reports that only two guests gathered in the garden of the Four Seasons Hotel in Anahita, Mauritius to witness the bride--dressed in an empire-wait Jenny Packham creation-- exchange vows with her love of the past 17 months.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom's Wedding

Reality personality Khloe Kardashian enjoyed a fantasy wedding on September 27, 2009 with her love of the past month, Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom. A steady stream of stars, including Kobe and Vanessa Bryant, Kelly Osbourne, Adrienne Bailon, Ryan Seacrest, Alan Thicke, Lola Vasquez and Brittany Gastinau, gathered at the estate of music manager Irving Azoff to witness a wedding arranged perhaps in haste, but with a lot of heart.

Clutching a bouquet of roses, lilies of the valley and stephanotis, the bride began her walk down the aisle with her escort, Olympic champion and stepfather Bruce Jenner. Taking on the dual role of maids of honor were sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, while siblings Kendall and Kylie Jenner joined three of Khloe's close friends as bridesmaids. Donning dresses which ranged from a heliotrope hue to a dreamy aubergine, the female family members filed down the aisle with the bride, who had donned a strapless, white Vera Wang creation accented with a lavender sash to tie in with the colors of her wedding party, People magazine reported.

A 10-piece orchestra provided the soundtrack for the early evening event, in which the bride received a wedding band to accompany her 9-carat diamond engagement ring.

Following the nuptials, the newlyweds swayed to the sound of Anita Baker's "Angel" for their first dance, then enjoyed a moving rendition of "You Are So Beautiful," as performed by Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds during a reception in which 250 family members and friends sampled slices of a cake created by Hansen's Bakery and servings of filet mignon and wild salmon fillet. As guests departed, each received cupcakes as a sweet souvenir of a day when two souls were united as one.

"American Idol" Runner-Up Justin Guarini's Wedding

Although he's not scheduled to step inside a recording studio until this winter, no doubt Justin Guarini felt like singing on September 26, 2009 as he and his love Reina Capodici were pronounced husband and wife.

Far from the world of glitterati, the groom returned to Doylestown, Pennsylvania-- the community where the American Idol season one runner-up first met his future bride during their days in high school-- to begin his new life as a married man. The performer, who plans to pen songs for his third CD, expressed his emotions in handwritten vows, as did the bride as the couple stood in front of a female minister of the Universalist Church. Making their I do's a family affair, the bride's young daughter Lola also spoke during the ceremony, People magazine reported.

As music is a driving force in the life of the TV Guide co-host of Idol Tonight, songs by Paramore, Radiohead and Peter Gabriel-- as interpreted by the Vitamin String Quartet-- provided a romantic soundtrack for the event, which took place at a private estate.

"American Idol" Season One Contestant Jim Verraros' Wedding

He may not have won the top spot on season one of American Idol, but Jim Verraros has long been number one in the heart of Bill Brennan, who became the singer's husband on September 6, 2009 after a four-year romance that began to blossom on MySpace.

Music is a driving force in the entertainer's life, and on his wedding day the notes of Johann Sebastian Bach's "Air" floated on the breeze at the Oak Brook Hills Resort in Oak Brook, Illinois, guiding the performer along a path of white rose petals toward the man he loves. According to People magazine, 174 friends and family members looked on as the partners-- standing amid fragrant arrangements of roses, orchids and white hydrangeas-- expressed their love to one another with personalized vows.

At the reception, guests sampled slices of an Oak Mill Bakery cake embellished with vanilla buttercream icing as the newly wedded entertainer-- looking dapper in his black Ermenegildo Zegna tuxedo-- swayed with his husband to the romantic refrain of Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love."

"The Biggest Loser" Competitors Marry (video)

As a bride-to-be waging a battle of the bulge, Nicole Brewer was a fierce competitor on The Biggest Loser, and while the ultimate winner's reward was not to be hers, the reality personality accomplished her personal goal on August 16, 2009 as she walked down the aisle toward fellow pound-dropping participant Damien Gurganious at the Renaissance of Astoria Hall in a body-hugging Amsale wedding dress.

Although most dread the treadmill, the desire to get into shape brought the soul mates together at a YMCA in 2006. Determined to leave their excess lbs. in the past before they pledged their love, the couple competed in The Biggest Loser: Couples edition, each losing more than 100 pounds in the process-- an accomplishment which continued after their time at the ranch was complete. By the time the twosome tied the knot in Long Island City, Nicole Brewer had gone from a size 24 to a size 8, while her groom-- who once wore size 60 clothing-- looked dapper when he tried on his size 42 Calvin Klein tuxedo at a Men's Wearhouse fitting prior to the pair's exchange of vows, the New York Daily News revealed.

As any couple's "I do" day is meant for indulgence, TMZ reports that the newlyweds joined family and friends in sampling slices of a Bill Jones Epicure cake, which was served after guests dined on crab cake and spring roll appetizers and a main course of sauteed chicken, fish and grilled beef. Following the festivities, the happy couple embarked on a honeymoon excursion to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, US magazine states

The beaming smile on Nicole Brewer's face says it all as she tries on some form-flattering Amsale wedding frocks for US magazine in the months prior to the nuptials.

Although she is best known for baring her body in videos purely for adults, Mary Carey offered television viewers a look at her soul in the VH1 series Celebrity Rehab and Sober House. Having broken down the barriers of addiction with the guidance of Dr. Drew, Mary Ellen Cook (her true name) has now embarked on the next chapter in her life-- a chapter which includes her new husband by her side.

"Survivor: China" Contestants Jaime Dugan and Erik Huffman's Wedding

Survivor: China stars Jaime Dugan and Erik Huffman formed a permanent alliance on April 4, 2009 as the reality personalities pledged their love in the presence of family and friends, People magazine reported. Although neither of the two Zhan Hu tribe members emerged victorious on the 15th season of the CBS reality series, luck was on the couple's side when the Charleston Convention and Visitors Bureau announced the pair winners of an $80,000 wedding at The Wild Dunes Resort.

As the sun began its descent over the beachside retreat, its last rays stretched out across the manicured croquet lawn where 150 guests had gathered to witness bridesmaids Marisa Axelrod and Brooke Jackson of The Amazing Race walk down the aisle before the bride made her grand entrance in Ulla-Maija Couture creation. As light danced on the facets of her snowflake Pocahontas necklace from Felice Designs, the bride made her way toward the groom, who had donned a sand-hued suit from Berlin's for the occasion, the reality star revealed on the couple's Charleston Wedding Giveaway blog. During the half-hour-long ceremony, the pair presented each other with wedding bands-- an official recognition of a love which had led to an August 2008 proposal at The Battery in Charleston, South Carolina.

Following the nuptials, the newlyweds joined their guests for a reception offering a tropical and Asian ambiance, where the pair cut slices of a wedding cake from Ashley Bakery. Saying good-bye to their loved ones, the couple made their way to the retreat which offered the contest-winning couple a honeymoon night stay, The Mills House Hotel.

After returning to their Nashville home, the newlyweds will be busy writing thank you notes for the gifts received from their wedding registries at Macy's and Theodore Morris, a Spartanburg shop which had also been the locale of the newly-dubbed Mrs. Huffman's bridal shower.

Danny Bonaduce Engaged

In the early 1970's The Partridge Family topped the charts with the single "I Think I Love You." Unlike the title of the famous tune, there was no doubt about actor/radio show host Danny Bonaduce's love for Amy Railsback on March 12, 2009 when the former child star, who portrayed impish Danny Partridge on the classic series The Partridge Family, asked her to be his wife.

His penchant for pirate-style jewelry prevailing, the actor chose a sterling silver ring for his bride-to-be fashioned in the shape of a skull and crossbones, with rubies resting in the skull's sockets. Temporarily symbolizing that the pair are on the path toward "'til death do us part," Railsback revealed to US magazine that she will wear a more traditional engagement ring at a later time.

Bonaduce-- who today can be heard on station WYSP in Philadelphia-- and his intended, who have been an item for the past two years, have not declared a date for their impending "I do."

23009: Wedding Bells for Dog The Bounty Hunter's Daughter

Sunset on the evening of February 20, 2009 marked the dawn of a new day for Lyssa Chapman, the daughter of Duane "Dog" Chapman, as she said "I do" to her love of the past three years, Brahman "Bo" Galanti. Sinking into the horizon, the fading rays shined a spotlight on "Baby" Lyssa and her father as the group Na Leo performed "Rest of Your Life" while they walked down a white aisle runner which stretched over the ground at Lanikuhonua at Ko Olina, Oahu, leading her toward her groom.

According to the Honolulu Adviser, 200 friends and family members looked on as minister Tim Storey-- the officiant which united Dog The Bounty Hunter with Beth Smith in 2006-- pronounced the couple husband and wife after a ceremony complete with hand-penned vows and a traditional Hawaiian blessing.

Fans of the hit A&E series can witness the both pre-wedding preparations at the JW Marriott Resort & Spa and the happy event in an upcoming episode.

22409: Jade Goody's Wedding

Preparations Continue For Jade Goody's Wedding
"One crowded hour of glorious life is worth an age without a name." Knowing that no one is guaranteed tomorrow, British reality star Jade Goody and her love Jack Tweed seemed to take the Sir Walter Scott quote to heart on the day they were pronounced husband and wife.

Wanting to make each day count once the former cast member of Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother received news of her grim prognosis after a valiant battle against cervical cancer, the couple became engaged on Valentine's Day. The proposal was swiftly followed by an exchange of rings on the banks of the River Thames before making their union official on February 22, 2009 at Down Hall Country House Hotel in Hertfordshire, England, the Telegraph reports.

Dressed in an ivory and cream silk creation by designer Manuel Mota for Pronovias-- a £3,500 gown donated by Harrods owner Mohamed al-Fayed-- the bride pledged her devotion to her groom during a 45-minute ceremony witnessed by approximately 150 guests, including her two sons, who are still too young to understand that the ceremony-- which was covered by the UK edition of OK! magazine for the sum of £750,00-- took place in part to secure their future.

Following the ceremony, jubilant songs performed by the Sugababes mingled inside a marquee with the laughter of family and friends as they enjoyed a reception feast of jellied eels, mussels and lobster tagliatelle before gathering outside to watch a fireworks display in the heavens.

National Television Awards 2008 - Arrivals
When Lee Mead auditioned for the reality TV contest Any Dream Will Do! in 2007, little did the aspiring star realize that he was embarking on a journey that would lead him not only to win the role of a lifetime in a production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat-- it would also lead to the love of a lifetime, Hello magazine revealed.

Following an 18-month-long romance, the singing star knelt on one knee and asked for the hand of TV presenter Denise Van Outen, one of the judges of Any Dream Will Do! (who US TV audiences will remember fulfilling the same role in the NBC reality series Grease: You're The One That I Want!) Enjoying their first weeks of betrothed bliss, the pair packed their bags at their shared Kent residence and boarded a flight for St. Lucia.

The happy couple have not announced a date for their impending I do's.

10309: "Britain's Got Talent" Judge Amanda Holden's Wedding

Arrivals At The British Academy Television Awards 2006
Celebrating the recent start of their married life together, the Maldives beckoned to Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden and music producer Chris Hughes, who left for their honeymoon hideaway on January 2, 2009. Along with their luggage, the couple carried with them the happy memories of their December 10, 2008 wedding, the Daily Mail reported.

Engaged since 2004, their years together brought about the birth of their daughter Alexa, who acted as a flower girl on her parents' special day, sprinkling petals in the church on the grounds of Babington House in Somerset, England.

Among the guests to witness the happy occasion was actress Sarah Parish (The Wedding Date), who had earlier joined her friend for a bachelorette party in Norfolk's Burnham Market, and who no doubt thought about her own December 2007 wedding day as she watched the bride walk to the altar, where F1 racing champion David Coulthard stood by in the role of best man as the groom recited his vows.

10109: "American Idol" Finalist Gina Glocksen's Wedding

KIIS FM's 5th Annual Exclusive Idol Finale Viewing Party
The end of the year marked the beginning of a new life for American Idol season six finalist Gina Glocksen, who became the wife of Joe Ruzicka following a three year courtship. Family and friends gathered at the Century Memorial Chapel at Naper Settlement in Naperville, Illinois witnessed former AI contestants Jordin Sparks and Haley Scarnato walk down the aisle in champagne-hued designs before the bride made her grand entrance, People magazine online reported.

When attending the October 2008 "I do" of fellow American Idol contestant LaKisha Jones, no doubt the reality star dreamed of the day when she would don her own wedding dress. The moment arrived on New Year's Eve, when she slipped into a white, floor-length creation embellished with beading for the non-denominational ceremony. Clutching a bouquet of dark crimson roses, the bride's fingertip veil-- attached to tresses tinted with scarlet streaks-- gently swayed as she walked toward the groom, who presented the singer with a wedding band to accompany the engagement ring which has graced the performer's finger since August 7, 2007, when Ruzicka promised forever to the budding recording artist on stage at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.

Shortly after the celebration ended, bridesmaid Jordin Sparks shared the joy of the day with fans on MySpace. Serenading the newlyweds with a rendition of "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" for their first dance, the microphone was later handed over to the bride, who sang the touching contemporary country classic, "Lee Ann Womack's "I Hope You Dance," for her new husband and his mother.
